KUSD 4K Program

All About Our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) Program

If your child needs to be challenged, Almost Home Academy may be the right fit for you and your child. As part of our 4K program, your child will learn problem-solving skills and increase their confidence and self-assurance in addition to the Creative Curriculum and learning.

Offered With the Kenosha Unified School District

For our Kenosha location, our 4K program is offered and managed through the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) and there are no fees for participation in this program, including registration fees. Our engaging, age-appropriate environment will introduce your child to a structure consistent with that of elementary school and supply the building blocks for their future, including:

• Art
  
• Math
• Reading and literacy
• Science
• Social skills

This program meets from 8:30 am until 11:45 am and all children that turn 4-years old by September 1st are welcome! We also offer 4K Extension, or wraparound care, which is daycare before or after the 4K program hours! Field trips are also included with this age program.
